The Kranji Heritage Trail
Spearheaded by Kranji Countryside Association (KCA), the newest addition to Singapore’s heritage trails is supported under the National Heritage Board’s Heritage Industry Incentive Programme (Hi²P). Main sponsor NTUC FairPrice Foundation donated S$27,000 to the development of this project as part of its community building initiatives and support for local farmers. FairPrice buys produce like kai lan, chye sim, bean sprouts and eggs from local farmers in Kranji and Lim Chu Kang areas.

NTUC Eldercare Expands Its Home Care Services With $1m Donation From FairPrice Foundation To meet the increasing need for quality and affordable home-based eldercare services, NTUC Eldercare has laid out plans to expand its Care@home programme, an island-wide home-care service to look after the frail and home-bound elderly. In support of this programme, NTUC Eldercare receives a donation of $1 million from NTUC FairPrice Foundation. The plans include building capabilities to provide a wider range of intermediate and long term home-care services, enhancing the service quality, and enabling caregivers to better cope with the pressure of caring for seniors at home.

NTUC FairPrice Walk For Rice @ South East Returns On Three Legs
This is the third year that FairPrice Foundation has supported this initiative by partnering South East CDC to rally the community to reach out to help needy families. This year, the launch is made more exciting by engaging participants to complete a three legged walk round Bedok Stadium. For every 100 metres of walking completed, FairPrice Foundation will donate one bowl of rice to the needy. To date, FairPrice Foundation has donated one million bowls of rice to this initiative, which benefitted over 7000 needy families each year in the South East District.

FairPrice Foundation Donates $1 Million Worth Of Food Vouchers To Needy Families At One Community Walk
FairPrice Foudation partnered the People’s Association for the first time through a mass event – “One Community Walk” - to better engage the community and grassroots leaders to support needy families. FairPrice Foundation donated $1 million in the form of food vouchers, which will go towards helping 20,000 needy families through all 87 GROs and selected welfare organizations through the FairPrice Food Voucher Scheme. The Foundation pledged to donate $10 for each of the 85,000 registered participants who took part in the walk this year and topped up the total to $1 million due to overwhelming support for the One Community Walk event.

FairPrice Celebrates 100 Stores By Giving $10 Million To FairPrice Foundation To Benefit The Community
FairPrice celebrated its crossing of 100 stores with a donation of $10 million to FairPrice Foundation to enable the Foundation to continue to provide a better life for the community. This is the largest single amount to be given in one year to the Foundation since it was set up in 2008. The event, held at the grand opening of FairPrice Finest at Serangoon Village, which is FairPrice's 100th store, was graced by Guest-of-Honour, Mr Teo Chee Hean, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence.
